Establishment of Committees
under the Photonic Internet Forum

To smoothly and effectively carry out the activities set forth under the Basic Steering Policy, a Technical Research Committee and Planning Committee shall be established in accordance with Prescriptions of the Forum. A summary of the establishment of each committee is shown in Exhibits 1 , 2 and 3.


Activities of the Technical Research Committee and Planning Committee are as follows:

Of 'Dissemination and Enlightenment' activities, recommendations and the preparation of requests shall be made by the Technical Research Committee because these activities are allied to R&D issues and policies.

Details of membership recruitment will be provided separately. Committee Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons shall be appointed by the Chairperson of the Forum from among the committee members after the committee has been finalized.The terms end at the next Regular General Meeting in which they are appointed. They may be re-elected.
