| (Purpose) |
| Article 1 |
To smoothly and effectively carry out forum activities, the Photonic Internet Forum shall establish the Planning Committee. |
(Activities) |
| Article 2 |
The committee shall carry out Information Exchanges and Dissemination and Enlightenment activities as set forth under Basic Steering Policy, but not make recommendations or prepare requests. |
(Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson) |
| Article 3 |
The committee shall have one Chairperson and one Vice-Chairperson. |
| 2. |
The Chairperson shall represent the committee and administrate
the operations of the committee. |
| 3. |
The Vice-Chairperson shall assist the Chairperson and act as
the Chairperson should an accident prevent the Chairperson
form holding office or should the office become vacant.

| 4. |
The Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson shall be appointed by the Chairperson of the Forum. |

| Article 4 |
The committee shall consist of the following members. |

Forum members who wish to participate in the committee |
| 2. |
External experts in areas of committee activities whose
participation in the committee is deemed necessary by the committee Chairperson

| (Subcommittees) |
| Article 5 |
The committee can establish subcommittees if deemed necessary for the smooth operation of committee activities. |
(General Affairs of the Committee) |
| Article 6 |
The general affairs of the committee shall be conducted by the Support Center for Advanced Telecommunications Technology Research Foundation. |
| (Others) |
| Article 7 |
Items not set forth in this summary but are necessary for committee operations shall be set separately by the Chairperson. |
