National Institute of Information and Communications Technology（NICT)
and Ultra-Realistic Communications Forum（URCF) support the research and
development carried out by the industry-academia-government collaboration
on ultra-realistic communications technologies for HD & 3D video, hyper-realistic
sound and multisensory communications. We also promote the spread of technologies
by way of verification experiments, consideration of standardization, and
application development.
In this workshop, we focus the aim clearly on virtual reality technology,
and invite leading researchers promoting regional projects. So, we give
an introduction to the latest research and development trends, and discuss
solutions to technological problems with virtual reality, an increase in
trade and international collaboration between researchers in the field
of virtual reality.
