PIF won the Official Commendation from the Minister of MPHPT (Ministry of Public Management, Home Affairs, Posts and Telecommunications) for the 53^rd Radio Day on 'the Association for Telecommunication Promotion Month' in 2003.
Reasons for Selection:	In the field of ultra-high-speed photonic networks, PIF has carried out following activities: Establishing a framework for promotion through cooperation among industry, education, and research entities. Formulating a Research and Development roadmap. Promoting international collaboration and cooperation with overseas entities.
